A diverse range of research topics were covered reflecting the burden of both communicable and non-communicable diseases in the region. A/Prof Jacqui Webster gave a keynote presentation on “Strengthening global health research impact: Learning from our work in the Pacific and globally” reflecting on her extensive work in measuring and reducing salt intake in the Pacific and lessons learned for translating research into policy and practice.
